I am a professional counsellor with a calm, confident manner.  With over 20 years experience working with children, young people and adults in a variety of settings, my hope is that our work together offers you a supportive relationship where you can explore your the issues that concern you the impact they are having on you.  My experience extends to working with people who bring a wide range of issues including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, traumatic experiences and bereavement.

Having studied with Persona and Stirling University I achieved a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. My core training is in Person Centred Therapy, as such I am committed to offering a relationship in which the individual feels able to express themselves freely, without fear of judgement or censure.

I have a particular interest in psychological trauma and the way in which we respond to and find  growth out of adversity. As part of my committment to continued professional development I am working towards gaining a Masters in Trauma Studies with the University of Nottingham.

In addition to my core training, I have completed training in the following:-
